Buxton Recreation Park Passport Program
Buxton Recreation Department challenges you to discover four town parks that are right here in Buxton by completing our Buxton Park Passport Program starting 10/16!
Passports can be picked up at the Buxton Recreation Department at 174 Portland Road, or they can be printed at home by using the following link: Buxton Rec Park Passport
Fold your passport, and bring it with you when you visit Carroll Park, Pleasant Point Park, Town Farm Park, and Bonny Eagle Park. When you arrive, take a look around to find the park symbol, and draw it in the space provided in your passport!
PRIZE DRAWINGS for completed passports! The deadline for being entered into the prize drawing is November 20th. There are three ways to enter the drawing:
1. Drop your completed passport off at Buxton Recreation Department, 174 Portland Road
2. Mail it to Buxton Recreation Department at 185 Portland Road, Buxton, ME 04093 OR
3. Take a photo of your passport and message it to the Buxton Recreation Facebook Page
Take a walk with your children, use a public playground, hike with a neighbor, kayak on a river or pond, or enjoy a picnic lunch with a friend! Here are the four parks that you will be exploring:
Bonny Eagle Park- Located at Bonny Eagle Pond (Symbol Hint- Near Park Information Sign)
Carroll Park- Located on Flaggy Meadow Road (Symbol Hint- Near Basketball Hoop)
Pleasant Point Park- Located on Simpson Road (Symbol Hint- Near Picnic Area)
Town Farm Park- Located on Town Farm Park Road (Symbol Hint- Near Playground)
As a reminder when you are outdoors, we want you to be as safe as possible. Bring plenty of water, apply and reapply sunscreen, bring bug spray, complete regular tick checks, and wear proper clothing/footwear.
