TEEN EXTREME 2026
Our Teen Extreme Summer Camp brings a fast paced, fun filled and thrilling summer! There will be leadership activities, field trips and art projects. Field trips you could see this summer, hiking, paddle boarding, and beach outings! Your Teen won't want to miss out!
Hours of operation:
Regular Camp: 8:45am-3:30pm
Extended Camp:7:30am-5:30pm
Full Summer or weekly camp options are available.
Registration Process:
Summer Camp registrations can be completed online. Registration for residents will open on Monday, February 23rd. Registrations open Monday, March 2nd for non-residents.
Registration Deadline: June 1st (or until the program fills) is the last day to register for both full summer program and weekly options.
Payment Deadline:
A deposit of $100 is required at the time of registration. Final Payments are required in full by June 26th.
Refund Policy:
Buxton Recreation does not give refunds for days missed. Fees will not be refunded due to a child’s absence or withdrawal from the program. Fees will also not be refunded when a child is removed from the program due to disciplinary actions. Buxton Recreation will recognizes there can be extenuating circumstances and maintains the right to handle refunds on a case-by-case basis as necessary.
Summer Camp T-Shirt Policy:
We require campers to wear the t-shirt on all field trips. Campers are required to wear there camp t-shirt while swimming. Registrations include 1 t-shirt. Families have 2 options to add a t-shirt.
1. Families can add a t-shirt below for $15. This t-shirt is a gildan cotton shirt that we purchase for all campers.

This link is our sideline store, were families can purchase higher quality gear. If you purchase from this store please make sure that your child has the correct color. - 7 Week Program- $1,350 Res and $1,375 Non-Res
- 7 Week Program w Extended Hours - $1,425 Res and $1,450 Non-Res
- Scholarship Form Due May 15th.
Registration Information
2026 Summer Camp Registration will be completed online. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due to complete your registration. There are four ways to make a payment:

1. Make a check made out to the Buxton Recreation Department, and mail to 185 Portland Road, Buxton, Maine 04093
2. Call the Buxton Recreation Department to make a payment using a credit/debit card. Please note that there is a .5% fee on all card payments.
3. Stop by the Buxton Recreation Department at 174 Portland Road to pay with cash, check, or credit/debit card.
4. Go to Buxton Recreation Online Pay Portal to make an online payment*. For instructions on how to use the payment portal, please see Pay Portal Instructions.
Payment is due in full by Friday, June 26!
Complete a Medical Authorization Form if you child will be taking medication at camp.
Complete a Child Concern Form if there is information that you would like to share with the staff that will give your child a more successful summer.
