Registrations will open on Monday, February 24th for residents and Monday, March 3rd for non-residents.  

SUMMER CAMP 
Buxton Recreation Summer Camp
We are planning 7 weeks of fun for your child, full of special events, entertainment, and field trips! Summer Day Camp grades K-5 are split into two smaller camps: grades K-2 and grades 3-5. Your child will be placed in a camp based on the grade they are entering in the fall of 2025. 

Hours of operation:
Regular Camp: 8:45am-3:30pm 
Extended Camp:7:30am-5:30PM


Registration Process:
Summer Camp registrations can be completed online. 
Registration will open for residents on Monday, February 24th. Registrations will open for non-residents on Monday, March 3rd. At this time we will only be taking full 7 week registrations at this time. Weekly options will open ONLY if there is spaces open. 

Registration Deadline: June 6th (or until the program fills) is the last day to register for both full summer program and weekly options. 

Payment Deadline: 
A deposit of $100 is required at the time of registration. Final Payments are required in full by June 20th.

Refund Policy:
Buxton Recreation does not give refunds for days missed. Fees will not be refunded due to a child’s absence or withdrawal from the program. Fees will also not be refunded when a child is removed from the program due to disciplinary actions. Buxton Recreation will recognizes there can be extenuating circumstances and maintains the right to handle refunds on a case-by-case basis as necessary.

2025 Summer Camp Pricing
  • 7 Week Program- $1,330 Res and $1,355 Non-Res
  • 7 Week Program w Extended Hours - $1,425 Res and $1,450 Non-Res
  • Scholarship application due May 16th.

Registration Information
2025 Summer Camp Registration will be completed online. A minimum deposit of $100 is due to complete your registration. There are four ways to make a payment:

1.Make a check made out to the Buxton Recreation Department, and mail to 185 Portland Road, Buxton, Maine 04093
2.Call the Buxton Recreation Department to make a payment using a credit/debit card. Please note that there is a .5% fee on all card payments.
3.Stop by the Buxton Recreation Department at 174 Portland Road to pay with cash, check, or credit/debit card.
4.Go to Buxton Recreation Online Pay Portal to make an online payment*. For instructions on how to use the payment portal, please see Pay Portal Instructions.

Payment is due in full by Friday, June 20!

Complete a Medical Authorization Form if your child will be taking medication at camp.

Complete a Child Concern Form if there is information that you would like to share with the staff that will give your child a more successful summer.
