Registration for 2023 Summer Camp opens 2/27 for Residents and 3/6 for Non-Residents 

SUMMER CAMP 
Buxton Recreation Summer Camp
We are planning 7 weeks of fun for your child, full of special events, entertainment, and field trips! Summer Day Camp grades K-5 are split into two smaller camps: grades K-2 and grades 3-5. Your child will be placed in a camp based on the grade they are entering in the fall of 2023. 

Hours of operation:
Regular Camp: 8:45am-3:30pm 
Extended Camp:7:30am-5:30PM


Registration Process:
Summer Camp registrations can be completed online. 
Registration will open for residents on February 27th. Registrations will open for non-residents on March 6th. At this time we will only be taking full 7 week registrations. Weekly options will open only if there is spaces open. 

Registration Deadline: June 9th (or until the program fills) is the last day to register for both full summer program and weekly options. 

Payment Deadline: 
A deposit of $100 is required at the time of registration. Final Payments are required in full by June 23th.

Refund Policy:
Buxton Recreation does not give refunds for days missed. Fees will not be refunded due to a child’s absence or withdrawal from the program. Fees will also not be refunded when a child is removed from the program due to disciplinary actions. Buxton Recreation will recognizes there can be extenuating circumstances and maintains the right to handle refunds on a case-by-case basis as necessary.

2023 Summer Camp Pricing
  • 7 Week Program- $950 Res and $975 Non-Res
  • 7 Week Program w Extended Hours - $1,025 Res and $1,050 Non-Res
  • Scholarship application due May 26th

Registration Information
2023 Summer Camp Registration will be completed online. A minimum deposit of $100 is due to complete your registration. There are four ways to make a payment:

1. Mail a check to: Buxton Recreation Department, 185 Portland Road, Buxton, Maine 04093
2. Stop by the Buxton Recreation Department located at 174 Portland Road, Buxton, Maine 04093 l to pay by check, cash, or credit/debit card*.
3. Call the Buxton Recreation Department at 207-929-8381 to make a payment over the phone using a credit/debit card*.
4. Go to https://www.informe.org/payportonline to make an online payment*. For instructions on how to use the payment portal, please see Online Payment Instructions under Department Info.
*Please note that there is a 2.5% transaction fee on all credit/debit cards
Payment is due in full by Friday, June 23!

Complete a Medical Authorization Form if your child will be taking medication at camp.

Complete a Child Concern Form if there is information that you would like to share with the staff that will give your child a more successful summer.
